There's always something new on our needles, and there are always new samples to see!
Sweaters, sweaters, sweaters. We're knitting them. We're wearing them. We're bringing in yarns perfect for babies, children, adults . . . sweaters are not only fashionable and functional, they are a great way to wrap those you love in your creativity.

We have a basic hat pattern that was written for Hats for Backpacks that has been updated to include more sizes.
This pattern is simple enough for those knitters new to knitting in the round.
Hats keep heads warm and dry, which will in turn help keep people healthy.

We are working on our next class schedule that will run through August. Keep an eye on the Classes section of the website! New, New, New! Remember that wonderful sugar-cane based yarn we blew through last summer? It's back, in solids and new multi-colors. Shop early for best selection - this lustrous yarn will not last long!
We now accept The Kitsap Card which will entitle the holder to 10% off purchases with some restrictions. Check your Kitsap Card book for the details.
A Good Yarn Shop is committed to providing yarn, patterns and notions to support both knitting and crochet. We are constantly adding to our supply of crochet patterns and books, and welcome your suggestions and requests.

The hottest trend we are seeing at A Good Yarn Shop is a growing interest in Fair Isle work. We continue to add to our color palette in Jamieson's Spindrift yarn, which seems to fly out the door as fast as we can get it on the shelves.
