Meet Debbie Macomber
Thursday, July 8
Debbie will throw out the first pitch at the Tacoma Rainiers game, and lots of fun will follow.
Knitters from all over the region will have a special seating area, and several shops will have items for sale. Debbie will be in our booth and we'll have her latest Knit Along books available for purchase and signing.
Tickets are $29 and include admission to the game, all you can drink beer, wine or pop and all you can eat finger foods. Tickets available at AGYS.

Debbie Macomber Yarn!
We should soon receive our shipment of the brand new product line from Universal Yarn called "Blossom Street." Debbie has worked closely with Universal to develop a line of yarns that are versatile, colorful and affordable! We can't wait to show them off!
New Samples
There are some fun new samples on display at the shop, including two new crocheted garments for children: a girls' dress and a boy's jacket. We've also got a lovely new shawl that Diana knit up, and some new socks! Check 'em out!
Kits!
We've been busy putting together kits for several of our shop favorite projects, including many Fair Isle hats. All kits contain the supplies necessary to complete the project: yarn, pattern, beads, etc.
Planning Ahead...
It's never too early to start thinking about the upcoming holiday season. Each of the staff members at the shop has a special holiday project (or two) underway. Watch for a special display later this summer. In the meantime, we have plenty of samples, patterns and yarns for special gifts for any occasion, be it a new baby or winter hats for the grandchildren!
What's on our Needles?
Too many projects to count, or so it seems! Joyce and Cynthia both have hats in progress, and Cynthia is almost done with a gorgeous sweater for her husband. Gina just finished a baby blanket that we all love and now want to knit! Diana has just finished a Weekend Jacket and has several projects on the needles and in her queue. Same goes for Sandy - lots of knitting happening! Jacqui is almost done with a lovely sweater made from Milk Cotton - wait till you see it!
